Right this is my third attempt at this, although i incorrectly identified at as a Cornflower
Thank you Pamela for the correction. Took this tonight just after a shower hence the slightly beaten look still not happy with it but it's an improvement i think

A bit noisy and the dof is a bit shallow on this one Den. There was not a lot wrong with Cornflower II (apart from the wrong name 
) Den, and the background was fine with me in the end. Pamela gave an excellent critique on that image. Ronnie takes his flowers into his kitchen sink in a controlled environment with a black background. Worth thinking about if you've got the space and time.
