I thought I would share this little story that I managed to capture while staying in the Karoo recently.
V1 is a lady Cape Sparrow enjoying the warm afternoon sunlight of the early spring.
V2 is an alert lady sparrow who had just noticed someone land on the branch immediately behind her.
V3 is the snappy gentleman sparrow who had arrived there. It only took him a few moments to see the sparkle in her eyes -
V4 and he took off in a lovely abstract flurry of feathers to her side
V5 Only a moment or two of foreplay and then he was balanced and then -
V6 Success! And a victory wave to the environs in general!
Hope you enjoy them!
Many thanks for the CCs and support for my last upload. A
