Located in Sandsend, a little resort some 2 miles up the coast from Whitby, I photographed these delightful cottages last year whilst there, and thought them worth a revisit this year whilst in Whitby. I rather liked the reflections in the water in V1, so decided that would be the leader! Smile

What beautiful images, Trev, real 'chocolate box' views, and the reflection in V.1 makes it so special. Carol

Three great shots Trev, but V3 is for me, like how you have captured the cottages from the top,
and a lovely curve with the fence and gardens
Did you have a spell on the seat?Grin
V1 works well and the reflections captured..wonderful

Three lovely images Trev, beautifully captured and I agree that V1 should lead, just for those lovely reflections.

It's easy to see why you should have returned for further shots.......a beautiful terrace of cottages and their gardens.
So difficult to choose a winner, Trev, but V 3 for me really stands out.
Ronnie.

I actually like the pov of v3 Trev, looking down the line instead of along or up.
Always like your tone mapping treatment, and it is particularly suited to these cottages.

I love that reflection in v1 Trev, but v3 has captured my heart. The quaintness of it is wonderful - sort of what I think of when considering England........quaint little towns, gardens resplendent with flowers, roses climbing the walls of the houses............

Three really beautiful captures here, Trev, but V3 is my favourite - there's something very intimate about it, as if I'm right there amongst the lovely cottage garden flowers, and all the details such as the lamps and the hanging baskets on the cottages seem to come alive ... how lovely to sit on one of those seats and rest awhile in such a beautiful spot.
