The last one for now from my recent trip down to Newhaven.
You know how it is, something initially looks good but then appears to be a bit of a mess when foreground, middle ground and background all merge together ![]()
Anyway, I spent around 30 minutes moving left / right and up / down trying to convey how low the tide goes, the harbour buildings across the river and the housing estate up on the edge of South Downs in the background.
I think I got there finally and am quite pleased with the result !
