Thanks, Andy, for your User Award on ‘Ipsy Wipsy’
And thanks, everyone, for your response
Now then…remember the crab a couple of uploads ago? And how that was an entry in last month’s EPZ competition? Well, this was the other entry…
…three generations exploring marine life at low tide. My bro and nephews…and my dad approaching them to see what Daniel (the mite on the left) has to show him.
I could spend all day looking into pools of water. super capture.
A fine composition, Andrew, perfectly captured and presented. Are there many interesting things to be found at low tide? Carol
a nice shot of the family having a fun day
A good story-telling shot but with added emphasis as the ripples draw the eye into the subjects. Perfect exposure suggests the use of a graduated ND?
Beautifully composed, executed and presented, this is much more than just a happy families shot.
This is my idea of a beach! Wonderful, people just pottering about enjoying themselves. And all that space...
An excellent capture Andrew - really tells a story, and I'd expect nothing less from the "great storyteller" (you!!)
And look at that blue sky! We in the UK are forgetting what one looks like!!
PS: is that an aircraft coming in to land??

I couldn't have said it any better Andrew.
Apart from the lovely family group having a great time (including the unseen Uncle Chilli taking the pics ), I love the flat horizon and wonderful clouds - I guess what Moira calls "all that space"!
great comp andrew wonderful colours and light brilliant detail love the sky too a cracker nice one
What a wonderful way to while away the day.....so many treasures to find.
great social image Andrew.. when we were kids we used to go cocklign on Hamm beach off the road that leads to Portland.
You can;t do it these days, as it's full of Windsurfers & yachties..Ggggrrrrr .
It's good for the soul just pottering around by the seashore and you've captured the feel of their involvement so well in this well composed image.
An image which takes me back a few to many to remember, simply delightful.
A lovely shot which does tell a story
I like the feeling of vast open space and the great outdoors in this peaceful scene, it looks like the perfect way to spend a summers day
Yep, the space says it all. Feeedom to explore.... and a story in an image.
Reminds me of going oyster collecting on the sandbanks in Portugal well captured
Superbly composed, Andrew.
Like nice warm water to go for a paddle. The two colourful shirts and that grand sky - it's great Andrew.
A marine delight classic. Timeless. I think humans hav been doing that since we found a way to open them
A natural fun time image. Well captured
Really like this. Totally uncomplicated.
