Wasn't going to post today ... no particular reason, but this shot just seemed to sit there and say post me. So here it is.

Janets Foss in Malham, whilst being bitten to death by midges and carefully negotiating the wet rocks and logs at the lower falls.

Hope you all had a great weekend, let me know what you think of this one. Just nipping out ... back later!!!

Cheers for looking,
Paul

Like your composition but it's the exposure which makes this shot, so many we see where the water is burnt out.

Good luck

Cheers you two. It's only a small location Chris so it's difficult to get angles that others haven't taken, not sure I did here ... but I quite like it. There is a landscape option too but I thought this worked better compositionally.

Havent seen the landscape version so cant say for sure but for me the top 1/10th or so distracts and is a bit flat. The bottom half is stunning and I suspect a landscape version would suit my taste better.

Obviously loads above disagree so feel free to ignore me! Smile

Consider yourself ignored Dave Wink

Just kidding mate, you're right in what you say in that it does distract a little more than I would like, but as the sky was less than accommodating and quite bright but flat, there wasn't much I could do about it.

Ta for your honesty though.
