Now then...nothing lowtidish about these but still taken during the beach outing.
This beach is in a place in Singapore called Changi...which is near the airport. That evening, I had to split my attention between the Thamboo bunch traipsing through the low tide and some planes flying directly overhead. Never had such good photo ops in terms of proximity (bearing in mind my cam's zoom ain't too far-reachy) so I tried to make the best of it by taking as many as I could. A few had to be chucked, and a few remained.
The colours and exposure for most of them were kinda mehhh...so I fiddled with them as best I could.
I like the first one here...and another one which I'll upload tomorrow.
For now:
V1: Singapore Airlines.
V2: Tiger Airways (hate the sky in this one - colour's all screwy and stuff).
V3: Don't know who those people are but there's another plane in the distance.

V1 & 2 are great images of planes and I can't see anything wrong with the sky in either. As for V3, like everyone else, think it's superb ... and, by the way, that's a stunning sky in that shot too. Just love that great big cloud directly behind the plane.

First two are good plane images; V3 has the context and the character.

For me all three are excellent Andrew, can just imagine the noise as they roar overhead on their way to the runway!

PS. Did you ever fly into the old Hong Kong airport?, that was something else, flying through between the skyscrapers!
