I took this picture of the moon this evening in my back garden, whilst my dad was playing with a new toy (big lens
whilst i played with his camera and his other large lens), I'm not normaly allowed out late on school nights (being only 6). But i was allowed tonight and maybe some more nights later on in the week as i'm off school with Chicken Pox's
.
Thaks for looking and i hope you like my first go at night time snapping. ![]()
Thanks Xander..

Oh Xander, you've got Chicken Pox!!!!
Poor old you - I do hope the itching isn't too bad and you are soon feeling better again.
Mind you, it's given you the wonderful opportunity of not only being allowed to stay up late, but taking this amazing image!! It's gorgeous, the details you've captured are wonderful - well done! ![]()
Many thanks to you all for your kind words and votes for my lads picture. He is well chuffed this morning reading through them with me
. At the moment he looks alittle like a little mud man covered in calamime lotion due to the relentless itching of the chicken poxs.
Mirc with regards to your point on the upside dpwn image, thats my vault. When i done alittle crop i also rotated it as i felt it best suited it this way, 10/10 for spotting.
Regards Adam on Xander's behalf.
smashing moon shot Xander and you have a great command of the Engish language too, you'll be a wow at school when you get back, hope your spots have all gone.
Dougie
