This will be the last post until the very end of May as we are off to Spain on saturday (YAY) - images from a recent long weekend with my friend Susie in her delightful home town of Ledbury in Herefordshire. Needless to say editing and choosing these from the many that I took whilst there has served more than one purpose, including keeping my mind off the horrible sore throat and cold that I am developing but best of all, avoiding packing!!!
Just for a change I have led with my personal favourite, obsessed as I am by reflections and how we see and perceive the visual world. With the rest I have tried to give a flavour of the place. I make no apologies for featuring three images of the architecturally avant garde Tinsmiths building as I love the quirky wonkiness that alludes to the Tudor buildings in the town. I hope the architect has received all the awards that this innovative but reflective piece of modernism deserves.
V5 is an interior shot of one of the many shops in Ledbury that sells what I call 'unnecessaries' and V11 is the interior of an ancient barn. The rest are outdoor shots and include one of Susie's very upmarket, two storey garden shed, V2.
Anyway, thank you for looking and I hope that you enjoy at least some of them. We have purchased a MIFI (personal wireless hotspot) so I should be able to get on line once we get to Spain but f I am totally distracted by holidaying, do accept my apologies.
