View across the southern end of Loch Lomond, taken on 2nd. March, to the snowcapped Luss Hills with the shore cottages of Luss village just visible. The longer nearer island is Inchfad, whilst the smaller one beyond is Inchcruin. The main snowcapped conical peak just left of centre is Beinn Eich. Large parts of the loch here had a thin skin if ice on the surface.

(Many thanks once again for all the comments and votes to my last up-load)

Very nice Ronnie.Loch Lomond is a gem.Read recently it even had a 'visitation' from Norwegian long boats in 1262 which were hauled in from Arrochar for a spot of pillaging !!!!Smile.Lovely shot.

Nice to see this unusual view of Loch Lomond Ronnie, a small world of it's own. So many people use this loch and so few know what it has to offer. We roar by on the way North with the occasional glance.

This is absolutely stunning, Ronnie! A beautiful landscape at any time of year, but to catch it with the snow on the mountains and those 'millpond' reflections makes this absolutely top class.
