A bit of a risky upload this evening.
Whilst we were away for a few days in Devon, we visited the National Trust maintained Lydford Gorge.
The light deep in the gorge was lovely at this particular strecth of the river Lyd, and I liked the composition of the bridge over the river.
I was stood balanced quite awkwardly on a couple of rocks in the river taking this shot, and wished I had my wellies rather than my walking boots on, as if I had I could have just moved that branch!!.
Interested to read your thoughts on this shot.

Such a beautiful view and very well captured. Lovely colours.
Steve
a very natural shot but very beautiful at the same time, I love the autumn colours in this picture
Beautifully captured and composed Phil...A wonderful scenic Autumnal image.
LOve the light and tones in this very well composed /exposed scene, with great colour as well . See what you mean re the risk, would have been a bigger risk wading in to remove the branch.
Although I don't get the quality of image that you have in this landscape ( wish I could ) for me that branch seems to be keeping me out of the scene and keeps drawing my eye away from the rest of the beauty there. Just my humble opinion .Still love the quality of the work.
Regards Mary

A superbly composed riverscape Phil, such a wonderful array of colours.
Quote: Well captured.
The sort of place the PIxies live

I think my Uncle Adie is away with the fairies, everyone in the West Country knows that pixies come from Cornwall!
