The rugged West Coast of Scotland holds both beauty and a wild feel quite unique. Sculptured in ancient Volcanic rock, the shapes are impressive.

Note the small version suffers from compression in the dark tones

It has been suggested that by someone on EPZ that I devote my "Sculptured Light" website to mono's.

Something I'm considering very strongly, with this type of image. I'm open to ideas, whether it be just my own work or in conjunction with others who share a passion for monos.

What do you think ?

A very strong emotive piece-- good contrast in tones--- I think I like it better without the ominous over hanging cloud-- Definitely well done in mono!

Malham Tree, Grosmont and a seascape - good to see you're pushing the boundaries nick Wink

do like the processing on the monos here, but that main rock to the right middle looks a bit crammed into the shot - maybe a bit wider or panned right would have helped

stunning mono mate, tops
