Another of the recent Magna Carta concert - this time Linda Simpson and supporting musician Matt Barnhoorn.

This time it's not straight from the camera: I removed unwanted, distracting items.

I tried black and white, but didn't think it improved the shot. At least not the way I converted it.

Mods and comments welcome!

Thanks for looking,

Conrad

I think its a great shot except I'd like to have seen the rest of his leg. I understand that there may have been something distracting there, but it just looks a little unbalanced.

Apart from that, it's sharp, colourful and energetic, so it's great *click*

Ah, comments!

Steffi - yes, that comment was inevitable, of course. I would have loved to have captured the rest of his other leg, but alas, it is as you suspect. Actually, I was glad to get anything at all. The lighting technician made the lighting changes quite frantic (unsuitable for this kind of concert, actually - might have looked good at a rock concert) and on other pics too many things look blown out. This one was not too bad, and I'm still considering another pic for upload. Thanks for looking and commenting!

Jan - Thank you, too, for your comments!

Thanks, Tony and Pete!

Actually, Pete, I have been considering some reconstructive surgery in PhotoShop. If I figure out how to do it, well, er... watch this space, I'd say!
