Mmmm coffee...

Margaret, I hope you don't mind a couple of suggestions.

I like your black background.

The saucer and cup although they blend with the coffee beans colour-wise don't hit the right chord for me. It took quite an effort to read the word cappuccino on the saucer, could it be better brought at the front? I can read upside-down and right-to-left. A purely white cup and saicer could do a better job I think but that depends on your stock availability.

Talking of white... it would be nice to see the (white) vapour of the hot coffee contrasted with the black background. Composition-wise the effect of vapour could be captured in a portrait set up, rather than a landscape.

I had recently said that the "rule of thirds" doesn't matter always but this could be a casewhere it can be applied successfully.

Better stop here cause my coffee gets cold.
