After a particularly disappointing day at work I needed cheering up and started browsing through my last safari shots - dicided to share a few more with you, so here goes.....
The Black Crake is very similar in caracteristic's to the water rail - look at those typical very long toes, making balancing on water lily pads a piece of cake, also the same keen eye and very similar bobing of the tail, just as skitish and elusive as the water rail and not keen on open areas.
