A male common blue butterfly I saw in the masts field at Prestbury Hill nature reserve near Cheltenham back in mid summer. Many thanks to all those who have commented and clicked on my recent uploads it is greatly appreciated. Sorry I have not been around much recently family health problems and work have taken up most of my time, I shall endeavour to catch up with what you've all been up to as soon as I have the time, Ed

That is stunning! Great macro shot. Hope things get better for you. I just saw a Red Admiral in the garden, despite the cold! I was indoors so no photo sadly.
