A set of images of male orangetip butterflies all taken this spring when out and about. V1 is of the same specimen I uploaded a few days ago and was taken in a country lane close to home

All versions are good, but I think V1 is probably the best.....

A great set, Ed: so good to see in the one set both the under and upper surfaces of the wings, and just how different they are. Lovely colour and detail.

Superb set, Ed - I particularly like the wings open shot - they don't often pose like that in my experience.
