hi,

this type of activity is always good for a picture and the hands in this are fabulous but im overpowered by the top of the mans head. particularly as the hair is so sharp.

there is some great detail in there but for me the real image here is in the working hands. id have shot those with the super textures in the skin contrasting with the carving in the wood.

as its presented the head is too tightly cropped into the corner and is facing at an awkward angle to add any real interest.

it is a good attempt, but i think there was potential for other angles where the head was less dominant and more focus placed on the hands

V1 is much better than your other versions, but now we have a fence. You need to crop tighter to remove the fence - really doesn't matter that the head is then part cropped top left. What have you done to v2 - the detail in the hands is great, the black area, I assume to hide something really does not work.
