I love these cute little Ducks. They aren't like the Mallards in that they won't eat bread. These little ones prefer peanuts, snails or small fish. There are around 12-20 Mandarins that swim around the lower end of the lake in my local Park but they keep to the far side so they can be near the trees as they like to nest amongst them. I was pleased to be able to get into a nice position and lie down on my front waiting for them to perhaps come a bit closer. After about an hour, my patience paid off and around 3 or 4 of them came close enough to get some decent shots.
