Hi Guys, sorry I haven't been on for a while, the wedding and Honeymoon took all of my time over the past three or so weeks..

All went well and it was the best time ever.

Here is a shot from Cuba..I have some more to post up so bear with me as I sort through them.

Great to have you back Stu.
I hope you weren't either living on this, or fishing from it.

a well composed shot with some nice framing, its a little too muddy brown for my liking, not just the water but the foliage in the background, also the mud patch in the bottom right is a bit distracting and needs cropping out

No pal, we were going on a sun cruise, on a massive Catamaran and this was sat in the little harbour, quite liked it so snapped it. Would have liked to have had a little sail on it though, would have been very pleasant....

Darren

I have taken on what you said and uploaded a version. I think it looks much better now. Thanks for the tip. Wink

Welcome back Stu!
This could do with a little lift and I agree with Darren re. getting rid of the patch in the corner.
I've uploaded a mod. in which I've cropped the patch, applied a slight "S" curve and added a touch more vibrance.

Cheers,

Bren.

. . . fancy stopping taking photographs just because you were getting married; bet it didn't stop you going fishing!

As suggested I've done a mod. Picked it up in PS, contrast, and colour; brightened the sky a little and gave the hull a quick paint job over the rusty bits Grin

Hope you like it

Jack

Quite a nicely seen and composed image. it does have that flatness again and I wonder what your camera default settings might be. Not got any scene modes of user produced filters in use have you?

Just lift the contrast and brightness a bit.

Paul

No Paul, no filters pal. Still learning the camera so it'll take a bit of time but I'll get there....
