Know for something completely different, well for me Smile This is a carving in a local church which caught my eye as I entered the church, had to be quick with this as the clouds were forming for another down pour :-(
Anyway hope it appeals.............

Obviously, a beautiful carving and the light and deep shadow really adds a special touch. Sorry I didn't manage to get back yesterday. Sort of sums up my days at present, but looks as though PamelaJean gave you the answer?

The illumination on this piece is absolutely fitting for the Image Hugh and think it lifts the whole composition....

I think because it's how we would expect to see in real life, with mystery, hidden detail disappearing into shadows; but this is an area where photography conventionally has to show everything and not allow the mystery. Wonderful and refreshing.
