Thanks to everyone for their comments on my last upload, and to Pete for the HC very much appreciated.
Back to the War weekend at Pickering for this one.
Shot on Pickering station with an on camera flash, set to second curtain sync, and dialed down to just lift the shadows plus a bit of panning to give the movement.
One of my favourites from this location.
See what you think
Thanks for looking
Regards Richard.

I can see why it's a favourite. Superb craftmanship, just the right amount of movement and detail. My only question would be the whitish squares on the right of the image which keep pulling my eyes from the people.
Dave
good one you got the motion for sure and i liek the sandstone as the backdrop it adds

Great bit of work, Richard, and nicely captured movement, too ![]()

Awesome work Richard I wonder how many with external flash have used the rear curtain function or any of the other functions, they are there for a purpose.

Trev.
Intelligent, creative technique. I love the way that certain details, certain features are sharp - as often happens with motion blur.

The flash has picked outs ome detail here, well done choosing back curtain it has a great effect and it's worked very well here.

only too happy to take this interesting image to RC
Very cleverly done Richard. If I had attempted this, it would've looked like it was taken from a moving Train on slow exposure ![]()

Don't have a clue what this means, Rich, but the end effect is superb!

A very nice sense of movement captured with this - I also like the background which doesn't distract, but enhances the image.
