I knew it was as soon as I saw it. The shades are like a pastel drawing. Actually, it's quite effective here and works quite well. I've become so used to not liking HDR that I have to be careful that I don't dismiss them automatically.

It is a nice shot. I like how the boat is aligned at the prow with the horizon.

Unfortunately the horizon is not level. Ive leveled it in the mod, and the subsequent cropping removed a letter from the name. The muted tones look good, well done overall.


Tone mapping is a "faux" HDR using one image, and this one has turned out nicely.

When I first saw this photo I thought what a great shot and nicely done with the HDR then I thought it was a bit busy around the boat i.e. netting/dinky, but then it is a working fishing boat what do I expect.
So nice photo, apart from one little thing there is a fishing rod on the shore line which keeps drawing my eye to it.
