Statue of Mars, Zeugma Museum, Gaziantep, Turkey.

Thank you all for your kind appreciation of my last upload!
I had been teaching all day long today, then my cousin came from Germany in the evening, so I've had no time to check your shots. Sorry for that.

I like the diagonal in v1, Nezih, and the shadow and statue are disconnected giving an excellent perspective. V2 has a strong composition with light and colour. Two very good, and separate images.

Two really creative views, using hte lighting and architecture. V1 is my preferred version - the road less travelled.

I too prefer the composition in V1, Nezih. When opening the image one only sees the shadow; the statue itself appears only as one scrolls down the screen, so the shadow at first seems to be independent. My first thought was of Joan of Arc Smile
