I'm not sure which it is but I presume it's a Willow Tit.

I had a bit more light this morning so the ISO was down to 800 and the shutter speed up to 1/100th sec. Happy daysSmile

Massive shame there isn't a little more eye contact, cos that's a cracking image Wink

I do have a couple with more eye contact and a bit of sparkle but I'm going to up-load them at a later date. I also have a front on view of a female Redstart that came out very well. Again, to be up-loaded later. The male Redstart flitted about close by but not in an area to get a decent photo from. I'm patient, so I'll draw it in to my feeding station then I'll have my photo. It's a beautiful bird.

Alan.

Great image and detail. The quality of the photograph perhaps helps identification; the whitish marks on the proximal part of the upper mandible make it more likely to be a Marsh Tit.

A gorgeous capture, but I was going to suggest a male Black Cap (of course I didn't see the rest of the bird!). Smile

I agree it is a tricky one to identify from this angle but a blackcap bill and legs are more grey in colour and no black beneath the bill. I would still go with Marsh Tit but would have to hear song to be sure.
