One of our new David Austin Old English roses, Mary Rose: I thought that SCR might work well and I like the result but knowing that others are less keen I have posted the original at V 2.

My thanks to all for the kind comments on It's Coming Off No Matter What You Say, and a big thank you to Graham {digital_boi} for his User Award. Also a big thank you to Ray {Billyray} for his for Alstroemeria.

Ronnie.

What a beautiful rose Ronnie (sorry I've just given away my award).
The desaturated leaves do look good in V1 but with the dark green leaves in the colour version
it is a hard choice between these two images.

The rose is well placed in the frame for a good composition, Ronnie. The original is a lovely natural image but the selective colour is a real beauty, the greys seem to enhance the pink colour so well.
