Chant and I drove up to Blyth the first day she got her new camera and lens last week.
What an initiation.
The wind was howling and it was bitterly cold.
The sea and sand were truly masters of all that they surveyed. Even this outfall pipe was being sandblasted as we were.
I liked the way the wind was moving the sand, creating patterns, and moving at such a speed that even objects quite close became fogged at times from the onslaught.
Thanks for looking
Hope you have a great Sunday whatever you do and wherever you get to.

People find some surprisingly beautiful shots at Blyth but they always seem to be pointing out to sea, away from the land...
This is excellent, the shadows on the left add a lot.

An interesting and pleasing shot. The work of Blyth spirits?

Great detail and composition John. An opportunity so well taken. #30 I think - RC - well done!
