Shot taken in Italy a few weeks ago. The negative was scanned and processed in photoshop (converted into B&W, sharpened, cropped etc).

A lot of people know the Swiss side of the Matterhorn (the mountain featured on the Toblerone chocolate bars). I really like the Italian side as it is a lot more accessible and by staying at the village of Breuil-Cervinia, one is litterally at the bottom of this trully majestic mountain.

I agree it's a great view of the mountain. Well taken. I be interested to know if the warm up filter made much difference to the image that photoshop doesn't give you.

There are so many shots of this iconic mountain from the Swiss side so kudos to you for finding something different. I really like the sweep of this composition, from fg to bg, but would maybe consider cropping away the fir tree on the right as I find it a bit of a distraction.
