I've been looking at movement on and off for a while now. Doesn't get a resounding response here, but its something I'm interested in. I've worked with a tripod this time with the washing line (Thanks Blueroom) and looked at the relationship between the curtain and the shadows (Thanks Mikbee)
There are three rows and you "read" them from left to right to see the sweep of the curtain.
Hopefully someone follows what Im trying to do.
Thanks for looking
Helen

I remember when you've used this idea before with a different theme and structure. This makes the eye work, makes the brain think. I wonder if there are more to com??

Excellent, Helen - yes, I can see what you're about. You have followed the advice of some extremely perceptive commentators - this is what EPZ is really about! The presentation is excellent too; to some extent it works downwards as well as across.

Thanks Jenn, Di, Moira, Rendre, Bill and Christine.
Its hardwork trying different things, as feedback can be a little on the low side, but I have had enough to work on.
It reminds me of something someone said to me once about teaching a new subject or a new age group ..........you only have to be one step ahead to teach children. Mind you its a bit nervewracking that way!!! The similarity is that with one piece of helpful advice, its possible to move one step forward, and on the whole I would say that this site provides that, and I'm grateful for it.
excellent shots and like how you presented the shot...
I like what you are doing here. You have chosen an interesting subject for the experiment, it is beautiful as well as perfect for the trial. I definitely see what you are doing, and I think you did well to capture the suggestion of movement in still shots. (I also like images of clothes lines.)
Yes,well conceived captures here.
Think the bottom row is particulary effective with the ''sweep''.
The main reason you upload pics on this site is because it is pics that you enjoy taking and they please you.I enjoy my ''rust'' and am fully aware they are not every ones ''cup of tea''.Just keep shooting you little projects and keep uploading.
Mick.
