hahah yeah! It was a used car parts lot - i asked them if i could have a wander round with my camera. After a few funny looks the bloke said I could - this is my favourite of the day but there are just lots and lots of used car bits with missing doors, wheels, springs, engines etc. It's a facinating space. Just wanted to know if the picture came across well.

its an interesting subject that needs a little interest pumped into it to give some life to an otherwise dull and drab bit of an engine. worse still there are some seriously distracting highlights near the top. it does have some interesting shapes and features though/
i had a play with a mod, made a duplicate copy and added a "find glowing edges" and then blended the modified copy back into the original. might have worked even better with some toning, have a play and see what you can achieve in 5 mins playing with the filter tools. i kind of like the finished version, hope you do
