Went to Conwy last Saturday with my Wife Margaret and my very good friend Linda, aka Mynett. We went to see a photographic exhibition put on be Conwy photographic club and to see a friend of all of us Geoff Harris, aka Trout_Man. While there we saw this gentleman walking around the streets dressed in mediaeval costume with a falcon on his arm. Talking to him it turnes out that he walks around the town with his falcon keeping the seagulls at bay thus leaving the town clear of the pests and enabling the people of the town and of course the very important tourists free from being pestered and dive bombed and worse. Quite a good idea, I think so anyway.
Thanks to all who C & C on my last upload it is very much appreciated.

I like the way the falcon is watching his master. Great capture
I like the way you have focused the shot on the character of the falconer - it shows that your love of people and portraits is at the fore in this shot. A great and informative write up on the use of this bird of prey to keep the pests at bay and something which worked very well. A lovely day out - many thanks for the company ![]()
