Now that's a truly outstanding image, Mark. A real cracker. Superb comp and wave movement and a very attractive colour palette. No award to give at this time so you'll have to accept a virtual / invisible one.

The impression of the fast water movement draws the eye in and is rewarded with excellent detail and colour. Terrific image Mark

Thanks Nazmul, because it was getting quite late and dark, just used a 1.3 second exposure (so it didnt smooth the water out too much), and the waves were hitting the rocks and splashing up, plus a lot of sea spray so its a combination of all of those things.
Thanks Dusfim and everyone else who's clicked too. Much appreciated ![]()
Hi Bruffy,
Timed Water.. is my most favorite thing to shoot .. that and macro flowers..lol I have shot several timed water pieces.. but was just wondering what your settings or data was on this pic... I have limited areas to shoot water like this .. where I am, at this moment but was going to see how much difference there was in your settings and mine and maybe get a different look.
Thanks Kathryn and Audrea, really do appreciate the comments. Audrea, all the settings info is in the exif data, next to the description, under the image ![]()
Thanks for the comment Aiden, and thanks to everyone who's clicked too
