Stone Horse goes nose to nose with Stone Dog on the sun dappled River.
My thanks to all who voted for the snowdrops, and to Kate (Irishkate ) for giving me her UA.
V2 IS JUST FOR ANYONE WHO CAN'T SEE THE HORSE!
The depth of colour is superb
A beautiful, natural image, Alan.
There's just so much to look at and take in.
Excellent observational photography.
OK Alan think you need to tell us what you were drinking when you thought up the description? Apart from that I love the abstract and colours on your image
You can't see them??
Should've gone to Specsavers...!
A very appealing abstract - love the colours and even I can see the shapes!
i knew it could be yours.. very interesting elements, fine colors, and superb composition.. in fact one of the finest compositions.. no bland space available.. the dog really looks cool.. shortlisted..
I thought it was yours when I saw the thumbnail, Alan. A beautiful natural abstract image with great shapes and colour.
A really lovely abstract; and yes, I can see the animals.
Sometimes a picture does actually have to be in colour, though I suspect the graphic qualities in this image could just transfer to monochrome.
Tried B&W, Bill. It works, yes, but I preferred the colour... enhances the various greys, and I feel it gains from the warmth.
An image that could be any size, from and Ariel view to a to tiny abstract.
The dog is perfect, but I'm not convinced by your species ID on the left, I'm seeing distinctly bovine. How now brown cow.... And Eric, it even has eye and mouth!
The sky reflection is wonderful - one reason why I seldom bother with the polariser.
Uploaded V2. Moira, behold the horse's head!
v1 for me Alan.
Can see them Alan, a great spot and a great absract capture, like the colours
Magic in the stones. I thought I was the only one seeing faces recently.
They'll all want to know what we drink now Alan.
Love the stones. V2 is "softer" and speaks to me! Both are gorgeous!
OK now I can see the cuddy just put the specsavers glasses on.
What a delightful encounter
Saw the dog straight away, didnt even read your description.... but I did need help with the horse but now I have it...... great stuff, and I love the colours in this
It looks more like a fox to me Alan... love the colours, that rich rusty orange is gorgeous.
Quote: It looks more like a fox to me
You've been drinking again. This is a fox.
Brilliant natural abstract Alan; I love those colours.
Certain resonance with the Nazca lines, apart from the blue.
See what you mean, Peter... never thought of that!
Great idea but what really appeals to me are the blues and earthy tones.
You are doing some richly colored images, this is wonderful.
