Harvest Time
The year has turned its circle,
The seasons come and go.
The harvest all is gathered in,
And chilly north winds blow.
Orchards have shared their treasures,
The fields, their yellow grain,
So open wide the doorway ...
Thanksgiving comes again!

Love the arrangement Kate, and the yellow theme is very good. The light may be a bit too directional and strong for me, giving sharp shadows, maybe some reflected light or fill in?? (more thouyghts than critique)
Dave

a very well composed image the colour's are great and as nathan says we should be thankful for what we have. a lovely shot.

Excellent still life Kate, wonderful colour and detail, well done..Lin
wonderful warm light, it evokes candlelight or the cracking fire
Like the amber tone of the light Kate and defused background, but have to agree with Dave you need extra light with reflector or additional light from the left, what light source are you using as I see flash did not fire, looks like Tungsten lamps!

Trev.
I think you trying so hard to do the same colours with diffrent shape...
It very nice..
So hard to do...
You are using one main light from our right side...
Left side need to be lit as well so a reflector might help...
I am now looking on ineternet for light pannels which are LED..
You can control them on brightness so a main light may be 66% lit.
Dark side may be 15-20% lit and you still got you room light above...
I sending link to show you what tey look like...
