The Battle of Britain Memorial Flight at the Sunderland International Airshow on 26th July, comprising of Hawker Hurricane, Avro Lancaster and Supermarine Spitfire. I added the clouds as background as the sky was clear and blue on the day and, although it was lovely, it did not make a spectacular photograph! I am hoping that by using these clouds as background I have managed to improve on the image.

Thanks for all your continued support.

Carol

Technically I can see the flaws with the sun direction, aesthetically this is beautifully done. An excellent image, Carol.

Beautifully taken and I do like your clouds (not clever enough to spot technical flaws).

A clever and appropriate bit of manipulation with a fine result.
Always so good to see images of these iconic WW 11 aircraft and to know they are still flying.

The clouds give it a more ''dated'' look Carol,
which the blue sky would not I think !!
Good work.
Mick.

Great moody sky for these planes. I like what you've done.

Great capture Carol, and think your replacement of the plain sky with clouds works very well Wink

A cleverly composited image, that wonderful sky adds drama to the beautiful planes.
