#21/21

“A couple of years ago I was walking on the promenade one evening, next to the pier. I saw a man and woman out in the surf. I thought they were mad as it was heavy sea and she was being swept out. I think they must have been on drugs or something because he wasn’t doing anything to help. I went into the water and pulled her out. She said ‘you’ve saved my life’ as we got back onto the beach which made me laugh. I was soaking wet so she walked me home.”
