Yet another shot from when I was at Albert Dock in Liverpool for the first time last week.
We were walking along and I saw these two men doing some synchronised mobiling (a future Olympic event, perhaps?). 'Strike while the iron is hot' was definitely the order of the day. I'd quickly composed the shot and clicked when the guy in the foreground finished his call and moved out of position.
This was cropped, resized, auto contrast applied, and sharpened.
I really liked those red pillars lining the corridor!! Should have got more shots of those...boooo ![]()

Great candid
..... makes me laugh when i see 'men on mobiles' deeply engrossed... mind you the 2nd guy looks like he's more interested in what his legs doing lol. Nice street image and love the colours the red pillars definitely attract you and it looks like they're purposely placed there as 'phone booths' ![]()

I KNOW!! It'll be interesting to overhear the conversation. It'll be even MORE interesting if Shoe Dude was talking to Back Dude. Shoe Dude's like, "Yeah, that steak & ale pie was great, wasn't it?? And...what the...look what this pigeon's done on my shoe! &^"%£$@#!!!!"
And Back Dude's like, "Whoooaaa there, not while I'm digesting my pie! I'll talk to you later. Besides, I think somebody's watching me..."

good capture lol. amazing how that little device changed the street scenes and our daily behaviour.
Great candid -- could they be chatting to each other? I know people who phone folks in the next ROOM on their mobiles! LOL
Well spotted!

What did we do before we all had mobiles?
Tin cans & bits of string perhaps.
Well spotted.

A splendid reflection of the times and quite striking with the red pillars.
Smashing candid, very much 'of our time'. Nice colour and good control of contrast. What did we do before mobiles?
