Thanks for all the CC's on my last upload.
There are several issues keeping me very occupied at the moment with little time for epz. - my apologies for not keeping up with your images. These are shots of the common Merganser or Goosander (which I have not found to be 'common' at all) from my archive.
The light was poor and mostly reflected backlight from a low and thinly obscured sun.
Since it is the only reasonable chance I have had to photograph these birds so far I took a bit of time to try and recover the detail. Taken last year in Scotland.
V1 and V2 are shots of females and V3 a male.

Interesting that the female of this spices has more plumage colour and detail than the male.
