Just nipped out in the hope of a good sunset tonight. I headed for Mermaid Pool, overlooking Ramshaw rocks, Hen Cloud and the Roaches, all visible near the setting sun. I even had two spectators standing on the far side of the pool.

Beautiful capture, great light tone and colour. Love the sky and the heather in the foreground.

Cheers all for the comments, the results turned out better than I had hoped ![]()

Lovely image with a great composition. Interesting HDR shot. I think the HDR processing has reduced the quality of the forground a touch as it seems a bit pixelated or over processed. It seems to have handled the sky, sun and clouds much better.

Bonnie colour in this one, didn't notice the spectators, I would try the FG a little darker to let the eye go to the sun on the horizon.
Beautiful composition and light.
All the very best

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated, Dougie I've left the foreground darker on tonights upload.
