Dedicated to the Rustmeister himself, in the hope that his recovery is proceeding according to plan.
I'm aware that there is very little rust visible compared with my recent uploads but I really wanted to keep up the Saturday Shadows theme. At least there is a padlock ![]()
Especial thanks to Helen helenlinda for her U.A. yesterday - it rather made my day!

I like the composition here Bill with the long lead in to the focus. May I be so bold as to suggest flipping it to see how the lead in starts from the left and moves diagonally to the right.
A wonderful combination of lock, shadow, rust and LB
Helen
When is a padlock not a padlock?
When it's a shadow...
Nicely done Bill.

V2 uploaded: a flipped version at Helen's suggestion.
Apologies for the late response: Saturday mornings are coffee mornings in Newcastle ![]()
Two subjects for the price of one - rust and shadows!
A fine capture, Bill, and V2 works best I think ![]()

V1 sits easier as a comp' IMHO Bill, but I like the strange feeling of movement in V2.
And yes, I know they're the same picture, but amazing what the Brain makes of things when seen from the other perspective. ![]()

A well-seen, well-taken shot. Like it.
Does anyone know how Mick is now? Quite a worry; he is missed.

I'm sure the great man will appreciate the thought, life has certainly been quiet on here without him![]()
