One from the other week at Loch Lomond. Although near identical to one Ive put up, its actually the 2nd shot I took from the same spot ...
Ive processed this one differently and tried to be less "dark" with it and warm up the image little.
Going mad of late, just cant seem to get out for any decent light and not feeling that creative. Need to get back to what I like and go get lost in the wilds soon me thinks...
All the Best, Tommy
Looked at this and said Tommy! There's a real unique feel to this, it's as if I want to be sitting there right now, listening to those waves break on the shore. Good composition/use of the tree and I like the splash of sunset colours - beautiful take!
I must visit here sometime Tommy
Yeh its a very unknown beauty spot. Next time Im going Im taking the tree with me home so I can use it on other locations
A lovely composition with great colours and detail. Although you don't say, it looks like an HDR due to the oversaturated yellows and reds. I think I'd back this off a tad to give it a more 'genuine' feel.
Love the moody clouds and the use of the tree. Nice one.
Just love this capture, it conveys so much mood
It is HDR but its not it that Over did the sat, its me... Im playing about for impact and fun with some new actions....
Though that night it was a tad in your face sunset.
I really like the lighting in this one Tommy, it looks great how it is just barely their on the f/g rocks, nicely done.
Beautifully captured with great tones
Thanks, I was trying hard to get detail in the stones without loosing the impact in the sky and keep the tree from looking wrong.
Awesome composition. Very intriguing shot.
High drama on the Lochside Tommy, another trip in the air I feel.
All the very best
great sky, really love the colour, very moody
The glow in the sky works really well here to stop the image being too dark and sombre. Works well Tommy.
Love the colours in this one Tommy
Right Im off out, was going out a lot more early but erm I slept in,,, I mean the roads where covered in a Lot Black Ice up here and didnt want to risk it
Aww the best, Tommy
it's got you're name all over it,i think it's the time of year with the light, falling asleep and not feeling like doing much,i think we feel like hibernating.........lol. This is a good one, love the lovely orangey tones coming through the sky and the lone tree, positioning and textures.Excellent work.Take care, wrap up warm and have a good weekend.Ann
Lovely movement in the water and super sky
Love this shot, love this spot. If remember correctly (it was about 30 years ago) this is the spot where my grand fathers ashes were sprinkled by me and my dad. The sadness of the moment was quickly ended as me and my dad got a face full of the ashes...my grandad having the last laugh me thinks.
