Thank you all for comments votes and awards yesterday, today the Millennium Centre at different times.
Great set but V3 is tops!
These are all excellent Trev, V1 my favourite, love the composition,
v1 nicely captured , well done
Three superb images each with their own merits.
V3 is surprisingly good without he coloured lights.
What is the interpretation?
A great set of images Trev
V1 for the intriguing composition, 2 for the perspective and is v3 the key for the enigma in v1 and 2?
There was a South African working in the technical department at my Cardiff suppliers.
When we wanted to say something in private, he'd say it in Afrikaans. He got my response in Dutch, of course... Well as a revenge next time I got one of the Welsh their reply was a bit like on your building
Three great images! I like them all particullary V3.
Nice one Trev!
These are lovely images Trev !! I find the composition in V1 stunning !!
Three of your very best Trev, I love the composition in 1, the starbursts in 2 and the subtlety of 3.
Three excellent captures, Trev, all with very interesting pov's, I think V.2 gets my vote. Carol
V1 is top in a fine trio of shots Trev.
Three superb images Trev, image number three for me stands out from the crowd. Superbly composed and captured.
Thanks everyone. For Kate Inscribed on the front of the dome, above the main entrance, are two poetic lines, written by Welsh poet Gwyneth Lewis. The Welsh version is Creu Gwir fel gwydr o ffwrnais awen, which means "Creating truth like glass from the furnace of inspiration". The English is In These Stones Horizons Sing. The lettering is formed by windows in the upstairs bar areas and are internally illuminated at night.
Different views and at different times of day/night.........love V 2 face on at night and the detailing in V 3.
V2 for me mate, but all nice.
Lovely set of images.
Very impressive Trev in all 3 images lighting is special in 1 and 2
Excellent inky blue sky contrasting with the red/gold writing and building, Trev. The lines of the building and the shadow all meet on the lower right thirds and the building on the right keeps your attention in the frame. An excellent composition with clarity and colour. Lovely low light work.
I cant decide a fave, but it is a toss up between V1 and V3.....Great images Trev. Thats a very photogenic building
Daine............thats a spelling mistake......... not my welsh name
