During our Suffolk holiday we spent time at the RSPB reserve at Minsmere (our first visit).
What a fabulous location, it was just a shame neither the light or the wind played ball and it was grey, overcast and cold most of the time.
We saw some new birds (Marsh Harrier, Hobby, both at distance) and some old favourites, loads of Avocet, a small group of four Spoonbills etc but this Tern proved to be the most accomodating.
Despite posing for me against a bright grey sky it did hover and revisit a few times so I was able to get this shot, which although not great technically (had to push the PP hard to get the detail) shows the lovely shape these birds make in the sky
