thank you everyone, much appreciated...

I quite like the idea I picked up on here which a lot of people have used on ePz. I think that most people who have been to Whitby recognise the out of focus harbour light which puts a stamp on the location so to speak - whilst the seagull adds the focal point and humour...

love this one, the composition, where you have the gull placed in the frame and the dof you have used. Works really well
