Another image from my early start on Saturday. The sun comes up behind the edge but there are some lovely hills in that direction and on Saturday like everywhere else they were shrouded in mist. The heather is still looking wonderful I'm glad to say as it added some lovely foreground detail to this image.

Many thanks for looking,

Jude

I could almost play snap as I have one just like this Wink

We must have been further up the Edge, though I think you caught better colour in the heather. I haven't processed mine yet so off to look. Nice one Smile

You've struck gold with this, Jude, literally. Beautiful colour especially of the sun coming through the mist with the flare. The heather makes an excellent foreground as well. Very well done. Love it.

There were quite a few photographers there and it did cross my mind to think that some might be fellow Epz members. Feels a bit of an odd question to ask though as if not they'd be wondering what on earth you talking about! Smile

Today's image makes more of an impact than yesterdays I think.
The light is wonderful with those rays shining on the heather.
Also love the way the light disappears behind the trees/hillside
at left.

Another beautiful image from your early start. Love the way the sun is appearing above the horizon so to speak with that layer of cloud/mist below it.
