An assortment of bits and bobs from the kitchen today - some of which was bought yesterday, some ie. the garlic, which has been hanging around for a while.

I wouldn't recommend eating the ivy.

Lovely contrasting colours. Nicely arranged.
I especially like how you've displayed the garlic.

A rather late thank you everyone. For some reason this came out well today - it has a richness and smoothness that I try to achieve but rarely manage - well I think so..... I particularly like how the garlic came out - it's been sitting in the kitchen for weeks and I must put it back - it'll stink the studio out if I don't!

Natural light this time with a bit of white foamboard on the right to bounce a bit back - I love having decent light to work with!

Yep - it's a Dragon Fruit - I've never tried one before and must remember to chop it up and have a taste before it turns...... It might be worth a pic or two cut open as well.

Oh as for painting John - nope - I don't do painting - useless at it Smile

Another "old masters" work. You do these so beautifully.
Rich and lush are the words that come to mind.
