I was in Cardiff on another non photographic trip on Tuesday and once again I took my compact camera with me.
I came across this scene and took version 2. As there was no rush I played about with zooming in and out etc.
The woman walked into the scene so I included her in a few shots.
I normally take one shot and move on or I only keep one shot. I quite like these three so here they are together and separately.
As you say they work well together and on there own too, well seen, captured and presented.
XXXXExcellent triptych Ken, a conversation of images.
This is rather good. I get the feel of passing time. Excellent serendipity.
The montage works really well Ken - a good series of events. Love that striking colour.
Very effective both singly and as a triptych.
I too appreciate the discretion of a compact camera.
A great set Frank, however I think the triptych really sells it.
You do some of the best triptych on this site! I love the progression of this.
They all work so well together Ken. Good thinking.
Storytelling at its best!
Your instinct served you well, Ken, v2 (your first take) has that voyeuristic/big brother feel to it.
Excellent candids once again Ken.
V1 works for me Ken, excellent captures!
V1 just works so well. Three images combining to make something much bigger. Love it.
Great work Ken.
Big Brother keeping an eye on the town.
Quote: Very effective both singly and as a triptych.
I quite agree - excellent work
A good triptych. I like V4 from the single shots, it just asks plenty of questions.
They work well together.
V3 has to be my absolute favourite. The woman's feet...one sharp, one blurred by motion. The woman herself is relatively sharp too, as are all other humans in this image, including the big dude who seems to going, "What you looking at?"
I just love the composition there too.
But I do like V1 for the sequence
Has to be the triptych for me Ken. Well put together.
Well seen and captured, do like the triptych.
Vrey nice idea like this well done, regards Leon.
