Good morning Peter, super image great dof, detail and colour, beautifully captured.
Hugh
Nicely captured Peter.
David
Interesting set up giving a 35mm equivalent of 180mm-450mm
"That's right, David," as I am getting very good use of this vintage & very inexpensive telephoto lens set-up. I captured this beautiful Monarch Butterfly on the Newport Cliffwalk at the "full 450mm effective 35 mm equivalent." I really enjoy the manual focus that is required of me for every shot, but my Pentax K100D has a really nice optical viewfinder. Thanks, David, for your comment & interest in my work. Also recognizing Sandy, Hugh, & Andy, for their early comments. Hope that everyone's Weekend is going well.
Ciao~ Peter
A fine shot, Peter. Interesting to read your information about the lens and camera.

a very beautiful flutterby on a beautiful flower. Couldn't ask for more and I hope you had no damage
I very recently visited butterfly world in England (near the M4) and photographed some monarch butterflies myself so I'll try and get some on soon. Great colours and well positioned with the pink flowers. - Chris
