Had a great holiday in Northumberland, so much for the family to see and do! However I managed several early mornings out to make the most of the good weather. We were staying 10mins from Dunstanburgh and it has a lot of significance for my wife as one of her brother's ashes were scattered there. The sun rose pretty close to the castle making contrast control interesting. This is from the first morning I went there, in the company of my brother in law, Kel55 (thanks for looking after Sookie the dog!). I know this isn't an original image given how well photographed this area is but it was very exciting to get to such an iconic place!
