Another shot from Tuscany (well, it is a fantastic location for photographers...)
This time a shot of Montalcino just after sunrise as the first rays of the morning sun caught the town head-on, making it look like it was made of gold....

Nice shot with a great early morning sky the buildings are a wee bit harsh. Is it sharpening or too much contrast.???

I always try to make worthwhile comments on pics rather than just clicking in the hope of reciprocal clicks - as you noticed! This means I only click a tiny fraction of each day's uploads so I don't mind the lowish click-count so much. It's the relative popularity of each photo that interests me more.
As to this image: I did little to it by way of post-processing so the contrast is probably a combination of contrasty film (Velvia) and contrasty light...
